Bear is a 4 year old Chow Chow who came to us from an intensive breeding facility with many other breeding dogs in need of urgent and specialised care.

RSPCA vets treated Bear for a range of medical conditions, and diagnosed him with ruptured cruciate ligaments in both hind legs. This causes him pain and progressive arthritis. He is being taken to surgery tomorrow to treat this condition so that he can have the opportunity to find a new forever home.

Bear’s case will stretch our limited resources, and we are asking for your generosity to help contribute to the costs of Bear’s surgery tomorrow. As you may know, every year we care for over 24,000 animals, with many coming to us with pre-existing conditions.
