Regularly check your local RSPCA NSW shelter and Adoptapet. RSPCA NSW rehomes many different types of pets, including cats, dogs, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs and more. When you have found an animal you’re interested in adopting, please visit the relevant RSPCA facility to meet the animal and discuss adoption with RSPCA NSW staff. Why does RSPCA NSW charge adoption fees? The RSPCA NSW animals who are available for adoption have undergone a comprehensive veterinary check, and been desexed, microchipped, and treated for internal and external parasites. They also have up-to-date vaccinations, and have undergone any other necessary veterinary treatments and rehabilitation. Their adoption fee goes towards covering a portion of these costs and also allows RSPCA NSW to continue caring for other animals in need. A breakdown of our adoption fees can be found here.
