The RSPCA NSW Education Centre serves as a hub for community events, corporate functions, and education. Experience the versatility of our purpose-built Education Centre, where your meeting, conference, or event can contribute to the care and protection of animals.

Located in Yagoona, our Education Centre acts as a vital community hub, serving as the home of many of our tours, education programs, and events. These include our training courses, tours, Corporate Support Days, meetings, and more! With three configurable meeting rooms and a state-of-the-art auditorium, our Education Centre is purpose-built to suit your every need. 

As a not-for-profit organisation, we rely on fundraising and donations to fund our shelters and community assistance programs. By booking a meeting or conference space at our Education Centre, you’ll be making a life-changing contribution to the ongoing care of animals in need.

Why Book Your Event at RSPCA NSW?

Our centre’s rooms and auditorium are equipped with state-of-the-art audio systems and video conference capabilities. If you require additional staging, live-streaming, vision switching, or additional screens, we’ll ensure you have everything you need prior to your meeting, conference, or event. 

You can also request a range of catering options when booking our Education Centre. From breakfast sandwiches, lunches, and snacks to our on-site Nespresso coffee machine, our robust centre can readily accommodate catered conferences and events. 

Best of all, by booking your event at our Education Centre, you’ll be contributing to the care and protection of animals in need. Indeed, every dollar you spend on your booking at our Education Centre goes directly to our shelters and community assistance programs.

Full Day Room Hire

Build a booking that suits you!

Flexible room setup (theatre, u-shape, boardroom, cabaret, classroom or custom). The number of rooms booked depends on your group size.

After booking a meeting space, you can add on the following extras as required at additional cost:

  • All-day tea, Nespresso coffee, and water with or without biscuits.
  • Morning and afternoon tea
  • Lunch-gourmet sandwiches, wraps and rolls
  • Fruit platters
  • Whiteboard, flipchart, and AV screens
  • Tour and talk
  • Half-day room hire is also available. The minimum booking is 3 hrs.

Fully Inclusive Full Day Packages

(Min 20 people – $100 per-person)

Our fully inclusive packages include everything you need to make your meeting, conference, or training session a success and memorable. Each package includes Nespresso coffee, tea, and water available on arrival and all day. Enjoy a selection of sweet and savoury bites for morning & afternoon tea and gourmet sandwiches, wraps,  rolls and a fruit platter for your lunch. All dietary requests can be accommodated.

The package also includes the room setup to your request, and the use of our AV equipment including a video wall (auditorium), HD video screens (meeting rooms), video conferencing, microphones, flip charts, whiteboard and markers, pens, notepads. All of this is included as one total price of $100 per person, with half-day packages also available. (Tour and Talk is available at an additional cost)

RSPCA NSW offers a range of short and accredited courses. These include nationally accredited courses like a Certificate II in Animal Care. Our trainers instruct professional animal carers, students, and visiting organisations, maintaining their skills by actively engaging in animal welfare work.

Boasting an array of versatile meeting rooms and video conferencing equipment, our Education Centre is perfect for both corporate and community events. Please contact our Education Centre Manager at educationcentre@rspcansw.org.au to arrange or discuss your booking. Please note that our centre does not take bookings for private parties. 

The RSPCA NSW Education Centre is available for bookings any day of the week. Please note that additional charges may apply for weekend meetings and events. To discuss available times, or for general booking enquiries, please contact the Education Centre Manager at educationcentre@rspcansw.org.au.

With an array of versatile spaces available to book, our Education Centre is purpose-built to meet the needs of your event. Depending on which rooms you book and the number of guests attending your event, we can arrange your booking space as per a range of standard styles. These room configurations include a theatre (no tables) style, a cabaret arrangement, a classroom configuration, banquet style, and more! 

With reserved handicapped parking located directly beside the main entrance, the RSPCA NSW Education Centre is completely wheelchair accessible. The auditorium and our meeting rooms are located on the ground level. Furthermore, should visitors wish to visit our shelter, the centre is outfitted with lifts leading to the Sydney Adoption Centre.

For any event-related enquiries or booking cancellations, please contact our Education Centre Manager at educationcentre@rspcansw.org.au. If given 30 days’ notice of your booking cancellation, we’ll provide you or your organisation with a full refund of your deposit. 

However, if you would like to cancel your booking within 30 days of your event, we may still be able to transfer your booking to another date (subject to availability).

If you’re looking to make a difference for animals in need, there are so many ways you can help us improve the wellbeing of animals across NSW.  

If you’d like to open your heart to an adorable animal companion, we can help you adopt a new best friend at one of our shelters and adoption centres. RSPCA NSW rehomes a range of adorable animals, including cats, dogs, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, and more! We can help you find a forever friend at any one of our facilities. You can also adopt some of our animals through our partnership with Petbarn.   

Foster care is another rewarding way you can help our animals. If you’re unsure about adopting but looking to personally assist our shelters, consider becoming a foster carer and giving our animals the love they deserve!  

We also facilitate a range of volunteering opportunities, perfect for those currently unable to welcome an animal into their home. From joining our Emergency Response Team to assisting with animal transportation, there are so many ways you can help support communities and their pets. 

If helping from home is more your style, we support volunteers looking for flexibility while receiving training and ongoing support. Make a difference at your leisure as a volunteer at home! 

Depending on which rooms you choose and how many guests will be attending we can set your room to your request. Standard configurations include theatre (no tables) or U-Shape, Boardroom, Classroom, Cabaret or Banquet.
