Behaviour and Rehab Centre (Central Coast)

Our Behaviour and Rehabilitation Centres help some of our state’s most vulnerable animals prepare for life after adoption.

The RSPCA NSW Behaviour and Rehabilitation Centre – Central Coast (BARC) in Somersby plays a crucial role in helping dogs with higher behavioural needs, including those recovering from fearfulness, cruelty, and neglect.

This purpose-built centre provides a calm and supportive environment, away from the hustle and noise of our larger shelters, ensuring our animals receive the specialised care they need.

At BARC, we focus on creating a welcoming space with plenty of outdoor areas for enrichment, exercise, and play. Currently, the centre is dedicated to rehabilitating dogs with significant behavioural needs. If you’re considering adoption, you could change a life by giving a BARC dog the gift of a loving forever home.
