RSPCA NSW has developed strong partnerships with many different corporates who share our commitment to helping animals – and we’re always looking to form more. So whether you’re an individual who is interested in Workplace Giving, or you represent a company that wishes to give back or sponsor an event or program, we’d love to talk to you. There are several ways you and your workmates can raise funds to help RSPCA NSW animals. You could take part in one of our planned events, or get creative and hold one of your own. Or you could take on a challenge event, such as City2Surf, and raise funds for us whilst getting fit. If you’re thinking of raising money on behalf of RSPCA NSW, you’ll need to contact us first to obtain a fundraising authority – that way both RSPCA NSW and the people supporting your efforts will know your fundraising efforts are legitimate. Meet our PartnersCorporate Support FAQsWhat is Workplace Giving? Workplace Giving involves making small, regular donations to RSPCA NSW. These donations are deducted automatically from your salary, and are used to care for and support abandoned, neglected, sick and surrendered animals. Once you’ve set up Workplace Giving through your payroll, you’ll hardly notice the deductions, but they will mean the world to the animals you support. They are also a simple and effective way to reduce your taxable income. How will my donation help? Your donation will make a lifesaving difference to animals in need across the state. From supporting our shelters to keeping our Inspectorate on the road and so much more, your generosity makes the world of difference to so many animals. How do I know if my employer offers Corporate Matched Giving? Please contact your workplace’s payroll officer or community engagement manager and they will be able to advise you. My employer doesn’t offer a Workplace Giving program. Is there anything I can do? Please email your payroll officer or community engagement manager and include us at wpg@rspcansw.org.au. We will be able to provide them with details about how to set this up. Do I have to donate a certain amount through Workplace Giving? There is no set amount and every donation makes such an incredible difference to the lives of abandoned, neglected, sick and surrendered animals. $15 could provide shelter for a mother cat and her kittens for a day. $30 could feed and care for an abandoned dog for one day. $50 could provide veterinary treatment for an injured animal. Can I volunteer at the shelter through my employer? Yes, RSPCA NSW offers a Corporate Support Day for teams of up to 10 and makes a lifesaving difference to animals in need.
