Workplace Giving involves making small, regular donations from your salary to support the thousands of vulnerable animals who turn to us every year for help. Joining the program is incredibly simple, and an effective way to reduce your taxable income. Once you’ve set up Workplace Giving through your payroll, your gifts will mean the world to the people and animals you support.Â
If you decide to help through our Workplace Giving program, you won’t be required to donate a set amount. Nevertheless, it’s important to remember that even a small contribution is an incredibly generous gesture. Just $15 could provide a mother cat and her kittens with shelter for a day while $50 could provide an injured animal with veterinary treatment. No matter how small, your contribution will make a profound difference in the lives of animals in need. By giving today, you can help make a difference in the lives of the animals in our care.Â

Some employers offer a Corporate Matched Giving scheme, also known as dollar matching. Corporate Matched Giving is an incredible way to support vulnerable animals across NSW, as it means your workplace will match any donation you make to RSPCA NSW – doubling your impact. For information about Corporate Matched Giving, please email us at wpg@rspcansw.org.au.Â
To find out whether your employer offers a Corporate Matched Giving scheme, please contact your workplace’s payroll officer or community engagement manager. They should be able to advise you on how to start participating. You can also inform your workplace that RSPCA NSW will be able to provide them with a tax-deductible receipt.Â
Yes! RSPCA NSW offers unique team building experiences that allow up to 10 employees to visit our Sydney Adoption Centre and help transform the lives of the animals in our care. Â
Participants begin the day with an educational workshop to learn more about animal wellbeing and the work of RSPCA NSW. This is followed by a guided behind-the-scenes tour of the shelter and veterinary hospital. Participants then help with maintenance tasks around the shelter and spend some valuable one-on-one time with some of our adorable shelter animals. These socialisation experiences are invaluable to the animals, particularly those seeking extra support while they await their forever homes.Â
