Annual Reports and Financials

At RSPCA NSW, our primary mission is to protect and care for animals. We know that achieving this requires us to support and care for humans too.

Our annual and financial reports help us reflect on our work and achievements, allowing us to better plan for our role in improving animal welfare in NSW.

Now rounding out the first financial year of our three-year strategic plan, we’ve made great strides in providing support for both ends of the leash. With the help of our supporters, we can continue paving the way to a brighter future for all, a world that values and fights to preserve the bond we share with our animal companions.

Annual Reports
10,324 Nights of Safety
We provided 10,324 nights of safety for pets through our Crisis Support Programs, offering temporary shelter and care to animals whose families were facing difficult circumstances. This vital service ensured that pets had a safe place to stay while their caregivers focused on rebuilding their lives.
6,284 Animal Desexed
Through our desexing efforts, we successfully desexed 6,284 animals, preventing the birth of 15,710 animals. This proactive approach plays a crucial role in controlling the pet overpopulation crisis, ensuring fewer animals are born into situations where they may struggle to find loving homes or face neglect.
4,552 People Assisted through Veterinary Fund
We proudly provided 4,552 people with $629,292 worth of subsidised veterinary care at our three hospitals, helping 5,108 animals whose caregivers were facing crisis and hardship. This support kept pets with their families, reducing preventable surrenders during challenging times.

Annual and Financial Reports

Each year, RSPCA NSW produces three key documents: an Annual Report, an Inspectorate Annual Report, and a Financial Report. These reports highlight our financial stability, strategic initiatives and achievements, and Inspectorate operations.

By providing services that target the needs of people and their animal companions, we’re preventing cruelty and neglect before they can occur.
