Little bit about Marlin

Hello there, I'm Marlin! I'm a male Staffordshire Bull Terrier puppy who's full of energy and loves to play, sniff and all things food.

I am still learning about the wonders of the world and would love to live life in the slow lane for a period of time, being a lounge lizard before tackling the hustle and bustle of life. I would thrive in the serenity of a low trafficked suburban area, where I can slowly build my confidence at home with kindness, patience and some tasty treats.

Often people think socialising your puppy means taking them out to lots of places and getting them used to things but sometimes this can be a really overwhelming experience. We could just start by going out the front of our home and you can reward me for looking at things like cars, other dogs and people walking past. This will allow me to create positive associations with these things without putting me in places where I am uncomfortable.

I haven't made friends outside of my littermates and may need time to warm to having companionship from any creature great and small. It would be great if I could have an older canine companion to teach and help me grow into the well-mannered and confident boy, I know I can become.
