Lucille is a young Sheltie guinea pig who is a little on the shy side, as many guinea pigs are. She will need a patient and gentle owner who understands that she may take some time to adjust to her new home and form a bond. Once she feels comfortable, Lucille will reward you with quiet moments of companionship, though she may still prefer to keep her distance at first. Lucille enjoys the company of other calm guinea pigs, so she would thrive in a home with guinea pig friends who are peaceful and respectful of her space.

As a Sheltie, Lucille has a long, silky coat that requires regular grooming to keep it free from tangles and mats. She’ll need gentle brushing a few times a week, and she may even come to enjoy the quiet time spent with you. Her diet should include fresh hay, leafy greens, and vitamin C-rich vegetables, along with fresh water daily to keep her healthy and happy.
