Little bit about May, the Rescuoodle

Hi, I’m May, a friendly Staffy gal looking for my forever home!

I enjoy the company of people but also like my independent time too. I appreciate it when my space is respected, so older children who can give me the room I need will be a perfect match but if you have calm, younger kids bring them in to meet me to make sure we all get along. It’s important that the whole family meets me too—this way, everyone can understand how I communicate when I need some space. I’ll show you how to interact with me, and you’ll quickly see how I let you know when I need a break or some space.

When it comes to other dogs, I'm very curious and love meeting doggy friends. I’m calm and responsive when it comes to treats, so you’ll see I’m a good listener and can follow cues well. However, I won’t be able to live with any cats or other small animals as I just prefer to be around my own kind or my human family. I love mental and physical stimulation, so I’d enjoy activities that keep my mind and body active—things like interactive toys, walks, and even puzzle games. I thrive when I’m kept busy, and I’m looking forward to a home that can provide plenty of love, space, and enrichment!
