Little bit about Fred, the Rescuoodle

Hi there! My name is Fred, and I’m a young Staffy cross ready to learn all about the big wide world and all there is about being a pet, I can be a little unsure in new situations and am looking for an experienced owner who understands the importance of helping me feel safe and secure as I continue to grow and learn. It’s important that I meet everyone in the family, and I’d love for them to be patient with me as I adjust to that luxurious pet life. I need some time to adjust to new people and experiences, and I would benefit from clear guidance and gentle introductions to novel things. I’m still learning how to handle things calmly, so I'll need lots of decompression outlets and ongoing training to help me thrive so I can grow up to be the best dog I can be!

I would love a home with children 12 years plus as sometimes I get a little nervous and overexcited. This can cause me to become overexcited but it’s just me working through my feelings. I need a calm and quiet environment where I can learn at my own pace, so I’d do best in a home with older kids or adults who can guide me with patience.

I can be a bit picky with my dog friends, if you have a resident doggo at home bring them to the shelter to meet me to ensure we get along. If you are ready for a lovable goofball and want to show me all there is about the world! I might be the boy for you!
