Little bit about Wally, the Rescuoodle

Hi, I'm Wally! I'm a sweet and friendly 4 year old handsome man who's ready to find my forever home.

I'd love a home where I am able to meet any children in the home as I enjoy being handled and getting pats but if I feel like I’ve had enough, I’ll move away to enjoy some personal space. I’m comfortable around children and enjoy interacting with them, and I like that they respect when I need my space. I’m definitely a people dog, but I need to be the only dog in the house. I have shown to be responsive to my handler when treats are involved! I’ll need to be exercised in quiet areas as I’m not a good fit for dog parks or dog-friendly cafes.

I will require having both indoor and outdoor access, and I’ll choose where I feel safest. I might need to spend some time outside until I feel comfortable to come indoors. It’s possible that I was an outdoor dog in my previous home, but I’ll warm up to being indoors once I get used to it. I’m smart and really enjoy training games, so I’d love a home where I can work on tricks and keep my brain busy. I’m active and need regular mental and physical stimulation, so I’m looking for a home that can keep me engaged with fun activities and exercise. I’m a sweet, loyal companion who just wants to be loved and enjoy life with my family!
