Little bit about Bravo, the Rescuoodle

Hi there, I'm Bravo! I'm a young Staffy, full of potential and still learning the ropes of life.

I’m looking for a family who can be patient with me and understands that I’m still a bit nervous around new people. I will require a home with children 12 years plus, and ideally, they should be understanding of my need for personal space. I would love my own area where I can retreat to when I need some quiet time to recharge. I prefer passive interactions where I can approach things at my own pace whilst I gain confidence in my new home.

It's really important that I meet everyone in the household before we make things official. I can still feel a little nervous around new people, so having a chance to get to know everyone will help me feel more comfortable. It’ll also be great if my new family understands when to give me space and how to communicate with me calmly. I’ve come a long way, but I’m still building confidence, so I need people who will be patient and consistent with me.

Another must for me is a buddy—I'd love to go home with another dog! I’ve shown more confidence and curiosity about the world when I have a canine companion around, and it really helps me feel more secure. Plus, it’s just more fun that way! My new family will also need to be committed to ongoing training. Since I’m still young and still figuring things out, it would be amazing if they continue to work with me on building my confidence and teaching me new skills using positive reinforcement. I’m eager to learn, and with a little help, I’ll be the best companion you could ask for!
