Little bit about Charlie, the Rescuoodle

Hi there! My name’s Charlie, and I’m a sweet and shy 9-month-old Staffy puppy who’s looking for a special someone to help me grow into the confident pup I know I can be! I’ve had a bit of a rocky start and haven’t been around a lot of new things, so I can be a little nervous when things are unfamiliar. But I’m doing my very best to be brave, and with a little help, I know I’ll bloom into the cuddly, loving companion I’m meant to be!

I’m looking for an experienced owner who understands that sometimes the world can be a little scary for me. I’ve shown some fearfulness in care, so I’ll need someone patient who can help me take baby steps and build my confidence. If you’ve got the experience and know how to guide me, I promise I’ll give you all the love I’ve got! Because I’m still learning how to feel comfortable with new experiences, I’d be happiest in a home with calm kids. I’m okay with being patted if I approach you, but sometimes I prefer to take a step back and observe. Calm kiddos who understand my need for space would be perfect! I get along really well with other dogs, and I love making new doggy friends! If you’ve got a doggy sibling for me to play with, I’d be so happy to meet them! Just as long as they’re friendly, I’m sure we’ll get along just fine. I’m still working on my training, and I’ll need some help with learning new things, but I’m a quick learner when I’ve got the right person by my side. With patience, love, and a little bit of time, I know I’ll grow into a happy, well-adjusted pup who loves the world (and you!) more and more every day.
