Hey there! My name is Layla, it's lovely to meet you!

I am a friendly and excitable one-year-old Staffy with a playful spirit! I love to chase toys and enjoy being active, making me a great companion for someone who can match my energy. With my sweet personality and enthusiasm, I am sure to bring joy to my new home.

I would thrive in a loving home with dog savvy children. While I'm mostly well-behaved, I can be a little jumpy and snatchy with treats. I would do best with kids who understand how to interact with dogs and can help me feel comfortable.

I prefer to be the only dog in the household. I'm not really fond of other dogs and have shown signs of discomfort when meeting them around shelter. I prefer to keep my distance and not interact. A home where I can be the center of attention would suit me best.

As a young dog, I am still learning the ropes and would benefit from ongoing training. I'm eager to learn and would love a family that can dedicate time to teaching me basic life skills. A positive reinforcement approach will help me thrive and develop into a well-rounded companion.
