Little bit about Ceero, the Rescuoodle

Hi, I'm Ceero! I'm a handsome Cattle Dog cross who's a sweet, energetic boy who absolutely loves people.

I get along well with other dogs and am always excited to meet new friends—so if you have a fur baby at home already, please bring them into the shelter so we can have a play date to ensure we will become best of friends! However, when it comes to meeting new people, I can be a little nervous at first. I may take some time to warm up to strangers, especially if there are children around, but once I’m comfortable, I’m very affectionate and enjoy being with my family. It's important for everyone in the household to understand how to approach me, especially kids, so I’m always treated with patience and respect.

I’ve shown that I thrive when someone is home more often, as I can get a little stressed when left alone for too long. I’m happiest when I have people around, so I really need a family who can give me that. I also appreciate having the freedom to choose where I feel safest in the house, which is why I love having both indoor and outdoor access. Whether I’m lounging on the couch or playing outside, I like having options and a safe space to retreat to when I need a break.

As a Cattle Dog cross, I can have a lot of energy, so I need plenty of mental and physical stimulation to stay happy and healthy. I enjoy walks and any activity that gets me moving. Puzzle toys and training sessions are great ways to keep my mind sharp. I do best in a home where I can get regular exercise and have opportunities to engage in fun activities. I’m loyal, loving, and always ready for a good play session or cuddle on the couch. If you’re looking for a sweet and adventurous companion, I’m your guy!
