Hello, my name is Ryder! I'm a playful but shy young pup looking for my new home! I would suit an experienced owner where I can be included as part of the family, spending quality time together at home as well as joining you for daily walks and adventures! A quiet home would suit me best, one where there aren't too many comings and goings, so I can used to things at a slow pace. I find it a little overwhelming if there are too many people around and I want to retreat to somewhere quieter. In time, my confidence will grow with your help, and I'll be well-rounded boy for you!
I am still young and have much to learn about this big, beautiful world. I will need ongoing positive reinforcement training and socialisation to help me be the best pup I can be! I find the world to be pretty scary, but when I am around other dogs, I learn so much and I follow their lead. I don't necessarily need another dog in my new home, but it would be great if I can have regular opportunities to meet and play with other dogs who may want to play with me too. My play style is rough and tumble, so if you do have another dog in your home that appreciates this kind of play, please bring them in to meet me.
Any children in the home need to be confident around dogs and over the age of 10 years as I can startle at sudden movements and loud noises, I know that older children are more for me. As always, children must be supervised around any dog to ensure all parties are comfortable and engaging appropriately. I am gaining confidence each day with help from the people around me, and I am looking forward to this continuing in your home. If I sound like the pup for you, please come in to meet me!Â
