Hi there,
My name is Marlon and I am a sweet young boy finally on the look out for my forever home! Could this be with you?
I am a really smart puppy and I am really food motivated, which makes me easy to train. I pick things up really quickly – I already know how to sit and will go to my bed without you asking me to. I have also started to pick up toilet training and often go to the toilet on the grass! I would love a family who has the time to put a bit of effort into helping me become the best dog I can be.
I would love a family to give me a routine such as play, eat, sleep as this will create some predictability for me, which is really important for puppies! Did you know that puppies need around 16-20 hours of sleep a day? This will help me regulate my emotions so that I am able to settle and learn more effectively.
Similar to people, puppies need ways to help them relax and decompress. People may take a bath or go for a walk to help them relax after a stressful day. Puppies need opportunities to chew, lick and sniff. My favourite way to decompress is through a licki mat or chewing on a pigs ear, toy or bulli stick. When I am in the office the staff will be at their desks and I will chew my pigs ear in my bed next to them really nicely. I just love to be around people.
I am looking for a home with no other animals. I would prefer to have all that attention to myself so that my new owners can teach me how to be a resilient and confident little guy. I would also not suit going to busy places like dog parks, cafes or bunnings as this would be too ovewhelming.
I love to play I really like to throw my toys around in the backyard and do some zoomies then I come in and settle down with my food!
