Little bit about Dante

Meet Dante, the lanky Staffy mix who’s all legs and love! At 3 years old, he’s ready to graduate from “Shy Guy” to “Social Butterfly” with a little help from his forever family. Dante is like that friend who’s a bit awkward at first but is the life of the party once he’s had a snack (or a squeaky toy).

Dante can get a bit excitable and has been known to jump up playfully. Given his size, he might unintentionally bowl over younger kids. However, he’s quick to recover and can redirect his energy to toys or zooming around! So dog confident children would suit his bouncy personality.

Dante shows interest in other dogs from afar. And when he meets them he’s rather well-mannered, lowering his body and play bowing. So if you already have a furry friend at home, please bring them along to the shelter to have a match up! Then we can make sure they'll be the best of friends.

Dante would love a family that can help him channel his inner goofball and build confidence. Bonus points if you have squeaky toys! So if he sounds like your pawfect pup, please don't hesitate to come down to shelter to meet him!
