Hello there, my name is Shelly! I'm an energetic little girl looking for my new home!Â
I'd suit a quieter home with experienced owners, where I can be included as part of the family, coming both inside and outdoors, as well as joining you for daily strolls, or simply snuggling up on a nice soft bed by your feet in the evening.
My new home will need secure fencing with no small gaps I may investigate or wiggle out through and any children in the home will need to be over 12 years of age and confident around dogs.Â
I know sometimes you have to go out, if you leave me with some fun toys, yum treats, fresh water bowl and a sheltered, snuggly bed, I should be safe and happy until you get home. I would benefit from daily enrichment and interactive feeders to help keep my mind and body active. Daily Calming activities to help me decompress such as toys, long lasting chews, sniffy walks around the neighbourhood, would help me to thrive in my new home.
I would do best in a home with no small animals, such as cats, birds or pocket pets, as my Jack Russel nature may not blend well with these family members. If you have any lizards in your garden, I will happily move them on for you.
I get along with some smaller sized dogs of a calmer, friendly nature, so if you have another dog at home, please bring them in to meet me to make sure we will be friends. Dog parks or off-leash areas are not ideal for me as there may be rude dogs who would rush up to me, and what I really need is a little bit of space and would prefer gentle strolls around the neighbourhood where I can sniff and explore at my leisure. If I sound like the little lady for you, please come in to meet me.
