Hello, my name is Checkers!

I'm a pretty little lady who loves a good game of chase the laser pointer or catch the feather toy. Being a Domestic Short Hair, my fur is short and easy to maintain, which means more time for cuddling and less time grooming. I'm at the perfect age of just 9 months, full of curiosity and ready to explore my new forever home. I have a medium level of energy, which makes me a purrfect balance between playful and relaxed. I love to engage in fun activities but I also enjoy my downtime. I’m not the type to climb your curtains or bounce off the walls, but I'm not a total couch potato either. Due to my age, I would fit best in a home with adults or families with children aged 12 years and older. I'm a young cat but I've already learned to appreciate a calm, loving environment where I can feel safe and loved.
