Hiya! My name's Max! I’m a spirited young man looking for a loving home! Could that be with you? Here's a little about me so you can find out! I may do best in homes with kids 12 and older, as I haven't met many children during my life so far. To ensure I am the right fit for your family, I will need to meet any children from your home prior to going home with you.
I have been able to say hi to other dogs, and even used to live with some! When I’m around food, I'm not a fan of sharing with other animals, so it’s important that my humans help me feel secure and give me a quiet spot so I can eat in peace as food is a valuable resource to me. If do have a furry friend for me at home, please bring them down to the shelter to meet me! We can have a match up to make sure we all get along perfectly! I find birds a bit exciting and have been known to chase them in my previous home, so I will need a home without these feathery creatures. I’m used to both indoor and outdoor living, so I’d love a home where I can spend time inside with my family, as well as have outdoor access to run around and have fun in, and I would also love if my home has secure fencing so I can be happy and content in my new home! I can be a little scared during loud events such as storms and fireworks, so it's recommended that I have access to a crate in a quiet area in my new home. I’m a sweet and energetic guy! I do jump up occasionally, but I promise it’s all in good fun. With some positive reinforcement training, I’m sure I can learn to greet people politely. So, if you’re ready to give a young German Shepherd a chance to shine, I might just be the perfect match for you! Let’s meet and see if we can create a happy and harmonious home together.
Love Max 🐾
