Hello there, I'm Hymie.

My life in the aviary is one of quiet contemplation. I'm not one for the raucous squawks and flutters of my fellow feathered friends. No, I prefer my own company, spending my days observing the world around me. I've always been a bit of a loner, but don't mistake my shyness for disinterest. I'm actually quite clever, if I do say so myself. I've learned to navigate this world on my own, using my smarts to get by and in doing so, I am not hand tame. But as much as I value my independence, I can't help but dream of a place to call my own. A place where I can be myself, where my shyness is understood, and my intelligence appreciated. I may not be the most sociable bird in the aviary, but I promise, I'm worth getting to know. Adopt me, and let's discover the quiet beauty of the world together. My adoption fee is $50.
