Little bit about Sherbet, the Rescuoodle

Hi there! I’m Sherbet, a lively 5-month-old tan Staffordshire Bull Terrier with a lot of love to give and a lot of learning to do. Let me tell you a bit about myself! I’m still a bit nervous about new things and can get pretty excited when I’m playing or meeting new people and dogs. That means I’m working hard on my training to help me feel more comfortable and less jumpy. My humans are teaching me how to walk nicely on a lead, and I’m getting better at it every day. I’m a quick learner, but I could really use someone who’s experienced with dogs like me to help me keep making progress.

I’m great with other dogs, and I love to meet them, so having a furry friend around would be awesome. I'm learning to be calm around them though so I will need an appropriate friend if going home with another doggo.

I’m a little bit too jumpy and mouthy for young kids, so I’d do best in a home with older children who are confident around dogs or who know how to handle a playful pup like me. I might get a bit too excited during playtime, and if that happens, I might jump, but I always try to move away if I’m feeling overwhelmed.

Overall, I’m a sweet, affectionate boy who just needs a little extra guidance and understanding. If you have experience with dogs and a patient, loving heart, I think we’d make a fantastic team. Let’s get to know each other and see if we’re a good match!
