Little bit about Tex now known as Ginga, the Rescuoodle

Hi there!

I’m Tex, a sweet 3 month old Cattle x ready to find my forever family. I haven’t had the best start to life, but I’m full of love and ready to thrive! I’m playful, curious, and eager to learn – positive reinforcement training is my favourite way to bond.

I am currently living in a foster home with two other dogs and a cat and so far I have to say I am learning something new everyday! I am quite a smart boy I pick things up super quick and I often offer sit and lay down on my mat without you having to ask! Toilet training is also coming along – if I do need to go when I am inside I have been using puppy pads but I really do try my best to hold it until I go outside. I have also been working on my leash manners and I am picking this up quite nicely however I do get a bit scared sometimes when cars go past so I think I need a family who can continue to help build my confidence!

I really enjoy a routine and I find it is important that I get my beauty rest because I can be a bit of an early riser. I usually go to bed at around 9pm and then wake up to go to the toilet at around 6am. I have a little play with my doggy pals and then I come back inside and go to sleep for another few hours.

I also love to play and zoom around in the backyard. My favourite toys are the plush squeaky ones preferably on the smaller side so I can carry them around in my mouth. I have also started to understand fetch which I think I will be excellent at in no time at all.

I am currently living with two larger dogs and I really do learn so much from them so if you do have another dog at home please bring them in so that we can meet and become best friends!
