Hello there, my name is Juno! I'm a relaxed, independent lady currently living it up in foster care, and I'm on the lookout for a forever home that suits my sweet and gentle nature. I’d thrive in a quieter household where I can be part of the family — enjoying both indoor comforts and outdoor time. Whether it’s joining you for daily walks, hanging out in the yard, or curling up on a soft bed at your feet in the evening, I’ll be happiest when I’m close to my people.
When you’re off to work, I do just fine spending time outside during the day. I’m tidy indoors, rarely bark unless something unusual is going on outside, and I sleep peacefully through the night on my own bed inside. I adore my walks (motorbikes not so much — I like to bark and warn them away!), and I’m manageable around other dogs on walks, though I do prefer a bit of space. My foster carer sometimes gives other excitable dogs a wide berth, which works perfectly for me. I enjoy car rides, playing fetch or tug, splashing in a shell pool, and even a bit of cheeky digging — I love hiding my treats! A sandpit or designated digging spot would be a great outlet for this.
I’d do best as the only dog in the home — I’m not a fan of sharing my space or people with other pups. Dog parks or off-leash areas aren’t my thing, but I’m a fantastic walking companion and will enjoy calmer, on-lead adventures by your side. Any children in the home should be over 12 and confident around dogs, as I appreciate a bit of personal space sometimes. When you leave me with enrichment toys, puzzle feeders, or tasty treats, I’ll happily entertain myself while you’re out.
If you’re looking for a loyal, easy-going companion who’ll be your shadow around the house, your car ride buddy, and your snuggle partner after a walk — I just might be your girl.
