Little bit about Magenta, the Rescuoodle

Hi there! I’m Magenta, a 5 year old Rottweiler with a heart full of love just waiting for the right person to share it with. I’m looking for an experienced owner who understands that I’m a bit of a nervous Nellie. When I first arrived at the shelter, I was quite nervous, and even though I’ve made progress, I still get a bit anxious sometimes. But don’t worry, I’m not as timid as I used to be! I’m super food motivated, which is great news because it means I’m a quick learner when treats are involved. My ideal home is one where things are calm and quiet. I’m not a fan of loud noises or a lot of commotion. I need a peaceful environment to feel safe and relaxed. When you meet me, it’s important that everyone in the household gets to know me. I’m a little wary of new people at first, especially if they’re unfamiliar, so it’s best if all the members of the family come to meet me before we head home together. This includes any kids in the house. I’d do best with children who are at least 12 years old and can understand that I need my space and gentle interactions. I might be nervous, but once I get to know you, you’ll see just how sweet and loving I can be. I need someone who’s willing to take things slowly and create a safe haven for me, maybe a cozy crate or a quiet corner where I can retreat when I need to. With patience, understanding, and lots of TLC, I promise I’ll show you just how amazing life can be with me by your side.
