Little bit about Bugsy, the Rescuoodle

Hello! I'm Bugsy, a delightful 4 year old French Bulldog with a heart as big as my adorable, wrinkled face.

I have a cute face and an affectionate nature, but my owners need to keep an eye on my health. Being a brachy breed means I may need some extra TLC, especially in hot or humid weather, so it’s important for my humans to keep me cool and avoid strenuous exercise. I also might need some extra help with grooming my lovely, low-maintenance coat and regular vet check-ups to keep my little wrinkles in tip-top shape!

I absolutely adore meeting new friends, whether they’re two-legged or four-legged. When it comes to kids, I’m a friendly girl who loves to say hello, although I can get a bit jumpy and wriggly when I'm excited. I’m always up for a good cuddle once I get to know you but will move away when I've had enough and would love for my family, especially children to understand this! As for my fellow canine companions, I’m pretty laid-back. I’ll watch other dogs with interest but can easily disengage and move on if they’re not my cup of tea.

I need a family with people home more often than not as I get worried when left alone, I will need some help with this ongoing too. The staff here will provide support on how to help me learn that being alone is okay.

Overall, I’m a sweet, loving girl who enjoys being a part of the family and bringing joy wherever I go. My charm, combined with a bit of understanding about my breed’s needs, will make us the perfect match!
