Little bit about Kali, the Rescuoodle

Hi there, my name's Kali and it's wonderful to meet you! I'm an active girl looking for a special, quiet place to call home. I came into the shelter through no fault of my own, I was a little scared when I first arrived as I didn't know what was going on but with lots of love and understanding I am ready to find a loving family to take me home. I am in need of a home with a yard, and one where I can be included in daily activities and hang out with you inside when you're home.

Any children in the home need to be over 12 years as they're more likely to recognise and understand when I may be overwhelmed and need some space. Also, they can teach me new tricks yeah!?

I have met some other dogs while here at the shelter and I have some quality play time with them. Being around other friendly dogs has helped me to build some confidence, and I hope this can continue in my new home. Training groups are a great place to not only learn new things but to possibly meet some like-minded doggy pals who I could go for walks with and have supervised play. I will be best as an only dog in your home as I am not so sure about sharing things with other doggos. If you are interested in Kali and have another dog at home, please discuss this with the team to see if they could live together prior to bringing your dog in to meet her. Due to my sometimes-shy nature, I will need to steer clear of the busy dog parks as these are often overwhelming places and I won't have the best time. Instead, I'd love to go on adventures where we can strengthen our bond, perhaps a bush walk, a walk in a quiet area where we won't come across too many new things, or some training in the backyard. I am a beautiful, playful, and gentle girl looking for love, could that be with you?
