Hi there, It is really wonderful to meet you! My name is Lettie and I am looking for my new home!
I came to the RSPCA as a surrender as sadly my old owners weren't able to look after me anymore so now I am waiting for a new home. I will need a nice big hutch in my new home with areas to run around and hide as well as toys to keep me entertained when you aren't around. Please make sure I have lots of water and a cool place to hide in the warm summer so I don't over heat. A big secure cage will also help protect me from any predators.
Did you know that Rabbits are actually a part of the rodent family? We are much cuter though, if I do say so myself. However like all members of the rodent family, our teeth are constantly growing. Because of this it is very important that we have the right food to eat so we wear our teeth properly. This means 80% of my diet should be hay, 15% fresh leafy greens and veggies and only 5% pellets. I would also benefit from gnaw blocks to chew on too. Us rabbits need to be eating constantly so fresh hay and veggies each day is a must.
Being a bunny I can get a little nervous when being picked up so make sure everyone at home knows how to handle me properly before they try to carry me, I wouldn't want to accidently scratch someone. I would also love a home that can give me regular brushes and pats to remind me how much they love me.
If you think I'm the bunny for you come down and meet me for a cuddle and chat with one of our friendly staff!
Love Lettie xXx
