Hellooo! My name is Bindi, and I’m a young puppy. I’m an Australian Cattle Dog, and I’m really sweet, and also a bundle of energy. I'm a lot of fun, but the truth is some of my bounciness is because I'm still learning how to be brave and calm. Sometimes I jump around when I feel a bit overwhelmed and don't know what to do with myself. I might be a little nervous sometimes, but I just want to be happy and loved! Here’s what I need:I can be a little nervous when people touch me or handle me in certain ways. I’m learning to trust people, but it’s easier if someone knows how to be kind to me and help me feel safe. I need a grown-up who’s patient and knows how to teach me the right things.I would feel better in a home where there are no little kids under 12. I like older kids, though, as long as they understand I need some space and gentle handling while I learn my manners.
I need to meet everyone in the family before we go home together.
I don’t really know how to play with other dogs yet. Sometimes I get excited and don’t know how to act, so I’d rather be the only dog at home right now. I just want to be the centre of attention and learn from you!
It would be best if I lived in a calm, quiet home where there’s a regular routine. This will help me feel safe and know what to expect each day.
I have lots of energy, so I like running around! If I had a backyard to play in, that would be amazing. I can also live in an apartment if you can give me lots of exercise, but I really like having a choice between being inside or outside.
I’m smart and love to learn new things! I like playing with toys that make me think, and I need someone who will teach me fun stuff. I can get overwhelmed sometimes, but I promise that once I trust you, I’ll be your best friend forever.
I just need a little extra care and attention right now while I learn how to be confident and calm. If you’re kind and patient and want a pup to love, I could be the one for you!
I'm having some training at our behaviour centre so you'll need to put an expression of interest here to book a meet and greet with me before coming to see me!
All my love, Bindi xx
