Make a difference in an animals life today!
Hello, I’m Missy! I ended up at the RSPCA through no fault of my own, and now I’m looking for a new place to call home.
I really enjoy gentle interactions and have so much love to give, but it’s important that my new family understands that it may take some time for me to come out of my shell. I would be best started in a safe launch room with all my belongings.Â
I’m looking for someone experienced with cats like me, someone who knows I have my boundaries and how to read my body language and understands when I need a little space. When you get to know me, you’ll see how affectionate I can be—whether it’s a soft purr, a nudge, or curling up beside you when I’m feeling cosy. I really enjoy spending time with people when I'm on all 4 paws. Being picked up feels a bit awkward to me, so I’d much prefer to hang out and get to know you while we’re both on the floor.
I thrive in a calm and quiet environment, so I’m searching for a home where I can be the only cat so I can have all the love to myself. I’m not a big fan of loud noises or sudden movements, so I’d prefer not to live with young kids—only those over 15 for me, please. With the right person, I know I can blossom into the loving, gentle companion you’ve been looking for.
If you think you could be my new forever family, please fill out an application at https://www.rspcansw.org.au/what-we-do/adoptions/exceptional-owners/ , email us at barc@rspcansw.org.au or call 0477 064 192.
