Hello, my name is Emmy. I am a beautiful 1 year 4mth old little lady looking for a loving home.
I haven't had a whole lot of luck in my life, but I am ready to start a new chapter.
I am a quiet girl and can be shy, but I am gentle and respectful in the presence of humans. At times I can become a bit overwhelmed. I would like a quiet household, a warm soft bed and somewhere in the home that I can call my "quiet space." My ideal home is one that will be patient with me and work on building my confidence, so i don't feel so anxious in new environments.
I enjoy snuggles and laying around in my humans' company. I like to rest in high places. I currently spend my time resting on my crate when I'm not out learning about the world and exploring new things. I enjoy using my nose and I'm getting really good at enrichment; I like to find my dinner in boxes and other items like rolled towels. I also enjoy splashing about in my clam shell pool.
I walk on a loose lead and like to be near my human: sometimes I wear a harness and I don't mind it being put on me. At times sudden noises can startle me, but I'm gaining confidence and can continue my activities. I do enjoy a slow sniff walk and quiet time to watch the environment. My handlers all tell me I'm a beautiful girl and a pleasure to be around, so I'm owning that. If you would like to meet me and walk with me through our life journey of learning and exploring the wonders of our world, please talk to my friends at the Central West RSPCA. I would love a home to call my own for Christmas.
