Little bit about Honey, the Rescuoodle

Hi there! I’m Honey, a spirited adult female Staffordshire Bull Terrier with a heart full of love and a few quirks that make me uniquely me. Let me tell you a bit about myself so you know what I’m all about.

First off, I’m a bit of a shy gal when it comes to pats. It’s not that I don’t like affection—I absolutely do!—but I need someone who understands my need for personal space and can respect my boundaries. Because of this, I’d do best with an experienced owner who can read my signals and give me the gentle care I need.

I’m also a one-dog kind of lady. I’m much happier being the sole canine queen of my castle. I love having my own space and would prefer not to share it with other dogs.

When it comes to kids, I’m more of a "watch from a distance" kind of girl. I’d need to meet all the children in the household before making a commitment. I’ll likely choose to keep my distance, so it’s important that the kids understand and respect my space. I’m gentle and sweet, but I need to be able to retreat if I feel overwhelmed.

I also need a place with both indoor and outdoor access—no apartments for me, please! I thrive in a home where I can enjoy the freedom to roam and play.
