Little bit about Cola, the Rescuoodle

Hello there! My name is Cola, I’m a 5 year old German Shepherd on the lookout for my furever home. Will it be with you?

I’m a loving and gentle giant, but I can be a bit shy and sensitive. I’m looking for a special home where I can truly thrive. I’d be happiest in a household without children under 6 years old, as I need someone who understands my need for space and can approach me slowly and gently. I’m a breed that requires a lot of mental and physical stimulation, so an experienced owner who knows the ins and outs of German Shepherds is important. 

I also prefer to be the only dog in the home since I can be reactive towards other dogs. Ongoing training is important for me, as I’m still building my confidence and need help managing my nervousness and touch sensitivity. A person who can offer consistent training and support will be ideal. Additionally, I do best in a home where someone is around more often than not, as I’ve shown some stress when left alone for extended periods.
