Little bit about Diesel, the Rescuoodle

Hello there, my name is Diesel! I'm a big, beautiful boy looking for my new home!

I'd suit a home with owners who are ready for big paws, big beds and big… cuddles! I'd love to be included as part of the family, coming both inside and outdoors, as well as joining you for regular walks, or simply snuggling up on a nice soft bed by your feet in the evening.

Any children in the home will need to be over12 years of age and confident around dogs, as I can get a bit jumpy when excited.

There is still much to learn about this big, beautiful world. I would benefit from ongoing positive reinforcement training to help me be the best dog I can be! Training takes time, practice and patience, along with lots of love and yummy treats which is all I will ask from you.

I know sometimes you have to go out, if you leave me with some fun toys, yum treats, fresh water bowl and a sheltered, snuggly bed, I should be safe and happy until you get home. I would benefit from daily enrichment and interactive feeders to help keep my mind and body active.

Rest is also important! An active dog like me needs my beauty sleep, so I can keep giving life my all! Having a nice, quiet safe space, like my own bed or a crate, to catch some much-needed Zzz's after a big day of fun and play would be ideal!

I would do best as the only dog to help me relax and settle into my new home. Dog parks are not ideal for me as I may find them too exciting and overwhelming. Quieter, on-lead areas where we can slowly and calmly meet other friendly dogs would be better for me once I have had a few weeks to get to know you, the new routine and our home.
