Little bit about Yoda, the Rescuoodle

Hi all I'm Yoda, a sweet soul patiently waiting for my forever home!

I am a young man who has lived a sheltered life with minimal exposure to the world around me and would love to be part of a family with a calm lifestyle and a peaceful home, willing to take the time I need to be comfortable with my new surroundings. In the home I would love a cozy space to rest with my family and outdoor access to explore as I please. It would be great if the children in my life were older as I can be sensitive to fast movements and overwhelmed by intense touch. I would love for my new family to be home more often to help me adjust to my new environment and after a few weeks would enjoy exploring my surrounding neighborhood and beyond.

I gain a lot of support from having a furry friend to lead the way and help me navigate the wide world which is why I need a canine companion of a similar size, who is well socialised and matches my energy levels. I would love my new family to work on my sociability with people and other dogs as I become excited when seeing them and overwhelmed when they are too close. It would be great if my new family could develop a routine for me and my skills daily as I am a young man and have a lot to learn. I love food and would do well with positive reinforcement training session as I build bonds with my new family members.

-Must meet all family – Children over 15 years – Peaceful or quiet home environment

-Owner home more often – Canine Companion needed (of a similar size)
