Little bit about Maizy, the Rescuoodle

Hi, my name is Maizy and I'm the sweetest girl you'll ever meet! I have not had the best start in life, living on a property with a lot of other animals and not much exposure to a normal home life but I'm now ready to find my furever family, could that be with you?

I am looking for a nice, quiet home with an owner that will show me lots of love and patience as I learn all the new things about the big wide world around me. I'm still building up my confidence to explore new things and need time to get used to everything that life can throw at me, but with the right family I know I will thrive!

I have met a few dogs from a distance in shelter but I'm still not really sure how I feel about them, so I would be best suited as the only animal in the home so I don't get too overwhelmed.

I am a social girl and will often look to my people for guidance and reassurance. I am a very loving and affectionate girl, however sometimes too much touch can be a bit overwhelming for me as I am still getting used to what it's like interacting with my humans. I would therefore be best suited to home with no young children as they might find it hard to understand when I have had enough and need my space.

I would love my new home to be nice and peaceful with not too many people coming in and out of the home. It would also be great if my new family had prior experience with dog behaviour and are able to understand why I do the things that I do. I respond best to positive training so I can learn in a nice and fun way at my own pace!
