Little bit about Bear nee Meatball, the Rescuoodle

Hey there, I’m Meatball!

I’m a senior Mastiff with a big heart and an even bigger presence. My favorite pastime is lounging on the couch and catching up on TV shows with my favorite humans. I’m a laid-back guy who loves to relax, but don’t be fooled by my calm demeanor—I’ve still got a playful side! I absolutely adore playing fetch with balls. If you’ve got a ball and some time to spare, I’m ready to chase and retrieve for as long as you’re willing to throw. It’s my favorite game, and I’m always up for it!

I do need to let you know that I’m a bit of a loner when it comes to other dogs. While I can walk past them on the street without any issues, I’d really prefer to be the only dog in the house. I’d be happiest in a home where I can get all the attention and love to myself.

Because I’m a big boy, it’s best if my new family has some experience with dogs. I need someone who understands the needs of a large breed like me and can handle my size and strength. I’d also be most comfortable in a home with children over 6 years old. My gentle nature makes me a great companion, but given my size, it’s best if the kids are a bit older and more aware of how to interact with me safely.

I enjoy having the freedom to go in and out as I please, so a home with good indoor and outdoor access is ideal for me. And just so you know, I’m fully toilet trained and understand the routine of keeping things clean and tidy.

In summary, I’m Meatball—a loving, loyal, and playful Mastiff looking for a special home where I can be your one and only furry friend. If you’re up for some cuddles on the couch and endless games of fetch, then we might just be the perfect match!
