Little bit about Elvis, the Rescuoodle

Hi there, my name is Elvis, yep just like Elvis Presley! I'm a 6 year old American Staffy boy looking for my furever home. Will it be with you?

I'm looking for an experienced owner that has a keen eye to manage my quirks that make me, me. I enjoy the company of people but take a few minutes to warm up to you but with the use of yummy treats, I'd be your best pal in no time! I love being around people so much so that I don't really enjoy being left at home alone. I would love if my home had someone home more often than not, especially when adjusting to my new home environment. A consistent routine would be really beneficial for me especially as I adjust to my new home with new people in a new neighbourhood. As much as I enjoy the company of people and receiving lots of love and attention, I also enjoy my independent time by simply relaxing in my doggy bed in the same room as you and just doing my own thing. Sometimes little people don't understand this either. I would absolutely love if the whole family can come and meet me to ensure we are all on the same page and are comfortable with each other, especially with all my little quirks. I'd enjoy having both indoor and outdoor access in my home where I have the choice to chill outside in the sun or hang inside with my people. I don't enjoy loud noises so indoor access can be my little safe space if there are ever loud noises going on around the home.
