Arianna is a tiny little lady looking for a very special home.
She has previously lived in a quiet home with lots of attention provided to her so is looking for a similar home to move into.
Arianna has had spinal surgery, and while her recovery was very successful it is essential she receives proper ongoing care to prevent further injuries. A dachshund experienced pet parent and a home without lots of stairs or need to climb and jump is essential. Arianna also has epilepsy, which is well controlled, but will require medication for the rest of her life, and periodic rechecks with a vet to assess suitable medication levels.
After living in a quieter home for most of her life, Arianna is not very comfortable sharing her space with other dogs, and can also find children overwhelming.
A home as an only pet, and a mature household with at least one person available for company as much as possible is required to ensure she settles in successfully. She is also looking for a home where she has indoor access at all times but would enjoy access to a secure outdoor space if possible.
She can become overwhelmed and reactive to other dogs if she is not able to avoid when out and about, so walks in areas with lots of dogs, or dog parks/dog friendly cafes are not recommended.
Arianna has been spending time in a foster home and her carer describes her as a sweet and playful little dog, who loves to chew on squeaky toys and spend lots of time with people. She loves hanging out on the couch with the family and enjoys a walk every day.
Arianna is available for adoption via application only.
