Dogs and Puppies

With millions of faithful dogs and puppies bringing oodles of joy to Australian homes, it’s no wonder so many pet owners want a canine companion of their own.

By keeping us company, encouraging exercise, and becoming our loyal friends for life, dogs have come to be regarded as unwaveringly faithful animal companions. Dogs often thrive on socialisation, making them perfect for many homes. But while adopting your very own pup can be an unforgettable experience, know that it remains an earnest lifelong commitment.

Regardless of age, size, and breed, you will need to ensure your dog keeps up with routine training and veterinary care. Dogs also require regular enrichment and mental stimulation, with each requiring unique social and behavioural management plans.

If you’re looking to brighten your home by caring for a loyal canine companion, consider adopting a dog or puppy from RSPCA NSW. If you are not yet in a position to adopt, you can still lend a hand by becoming a foster carer for a dog or puppy in need.
