Little bit about Dixie

Hi there, my name is Dixie! I'm an older Red Kelpie girl who just wants to be loved and adored. I already have lovely basic skills and great manners, although I need minimal training, I'm always eager to learn new things. I get along well with other dogs, but small pets like cats, pocket pets, birds, and small dogs aren't really my cup of tea. I'm looking for a loving home where someone will be around most, if not all, of the time. It's essential for me to have secure outdoor access, as I love to stretch my legs in a safe enclosed backyard or enclosure. It would be great if my adopter has breed knowledge or experience. I can be a little timid in new environments and might need a little extra support when settling into a new home, my new owner should be willing to spend lots of time with me and build a solid strong bond between us. I promise to be your loyal companion and bring joy to your life. Can't wait to meet you!
